I don't think this bus driver should be charged with any jail time. Accidents happen and the video appears to show that he did nothing wrong.

Yeah seat belts would be real smart....That would probibly have caused more physical damage then without them

I dont feel the bus driver should be charged with jail time. Accidents happen. Should people go to jail for over correcting which result in an accident? School buses should be equipped with seatbelts.

If school buses did have seat belts and there was a fire on the bus, some kids might not be able to react fast enough to unbuckle their seat belts. The bus driver did a good job reacting to the accident, as did the kids.

The bus driver didn't look like he did anything wrong. My heart goes out to the students and the driver. Praise the Lord they were all ok!

Seat belts on buses...There are pros and cons. you know the pros, but the cons are: The students can use these as weapons, and another is if something does happen will the bus driver have time to help everyone unbuckle (remember if the bus is carrying elementary children they might panic and unable to unfasten themself)

What is the speed limit where this crash took place? The video shows the driver going 46 mph.

Good job mr bus driver!!! Good job students!!! yall need a huge pat on the back for staying calm in face of tragedy!!!! no fault on anyone accidents just happen even the best drivers. let the bus driver come back to work and do the best job that he is obviusly capable of!!!!!!!!!
