Engagement Form
The Cherokee Tribune publishes engagement announcements in the Sunday newspaper as a public service. The weekly deadline for announcements to appear in the following Sunday edition is  Wednesday at 12 p.m. (noon).     All announcements must be signed and must include a daytime telephone number in case any details need to be checked. The bride-elect, future groom or their parents or their grandparents must either live in Cherokee County or have lived in Cherokee County at some time for announcements to be published. Former residents please indicate where in Cherokee County you lived.

 
A recent black-and-white or good-quality color gloss photograph of the couple may be  submitted. Photographs may be  brought to the newspaper office or mailed to: Cherokee Tribune, 521 East Main St. Canton, GA 30114 or emailed to bjacoby@cherokeetribune.com .

  Please specify "Engagement Announcement" on the  outside of the envelope and for emails specify you full name and date you submitted the "ENGAGEMENT FORM".

We  reserve the right to edit announcements, to determine size and location of both picture and copy and to refuse photos of unacceptable quality and/or size. Acceptable sizes are wallet size and up to 8X10s. No profiles, Polaroid or long-distance shots will be accepted. Photos may be picked up at the newspaper's front desk after publication or will be mailed if a self-addressed stamped envelope is provided. The return of photographs is not guaranteed. If parents are divorced or deceased, please indicate this clearly.
