Mr. Dwight Terrell Bates, 59, of Canton, passed away on Tuesday, April 24, 2012 at Northside Hospital Cherokee. Graveside services will be held at 11:30 a.m. Friday, April 27, 2012 at the Georgia National Cemetery. The family is receiving friends at the residence, 427 Pearidge Road, Canton,GA. Mr. Bates served in the U.S. Air Force. He was a member of Hickory Log Baptist Church and self-employed. Survivors include his aunts, Lorene Bates of Canton and Ollie Spence of Louisville, KY; brothers, Donze Bates, James W.
