Padron’s body was found Dec. 8 morning by hunters in a wooded area behind the Canton Marketplace shopping center on Cumming Highway.
Police spoke with Padron’s family members Friday and were able to make a positive identification through photos, according to a release from the department. Police had released a sketch of the man Thursday.
“At this time, the investigation indicates that there is no foul play involved, but it was initially labeled as suspicious due to the victim not having any identification and not fitting any missing person reports,” the release states.
