On behalf of the State Bar of Georgia, I congratulate Cherokee County District Attorney Garry Moss on his retirement, which was effective Dec. 31, and thank him for his 24 years of service in that office.
Mr. Moss’s distinguished career of service to the people of Cherokee County and the Blue Ridge Judicial Circuit spanned more than three decades, including eight years as an assistant district attorney before his election as district attorney in 1988.
All Georgia lawyers can be inspired by the career-long efforts of our colleague to promote the cause of justice, uphold the rule of law and protect the rights of all citizens.
We wish Mr. Moss well in his years of retirement ahead.
