Mrs. Kathleen Holcomb Gazaway, 96, of Canton, passed away on Thursday, August 11, 2011 at Canton Nursing Center. Funeral services are scheduled for 3 p.m. Saturday, August 12, 2011 at the Sosebee Memorial Chapel with Rev. Daryl Bailey officiating. Interment will follow in Rolling Hills Memory Gardens in Acworth. The family will receive friends Friday from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. and Saturday from 12 p.m. until the funeral hour. Mrs. Gazaway was a retired dietician from R.T. Jones Hospital. She was a member of Mt. Calvary Baptist Church. Survivors include her daughter, Joan (Robert) Jenkins of Canton; grandchildren, Denice Stokes of Emerson and David (Wendy) Padgett of Canton; great-grandchildren, Matthew and Jacob Stokes of Emerson, Kyler, Karsyn and Kambell Padgett of Canton; brothers, Hubert Holcomb of Jasper and Jack Holcomb of Locust Grove.
