Government offices and businesses to be closed

CANTON — All city, county, state and federal centers, courts and offices will be closed on Monday.

The Cherokee Area Transportation System buses and vans will not run on Monday.

Trash pickup for city of Canton and city of Woodstock customers will be delayed by one day next week.

The Nelson City Council and Waleska City Council meetings on Monday have been rescheduled for Tuesday.

The Holly Springs City Council meeting on Monday has been postponed till Thursday.

The Department of Driver Services driver’s licensing and testing Customer Service Center in Canton will be closed Saturday and Monday.

Cherokee County School District schools and offices will be closed on Monday, as will the campuses of Chattahoochee Technical College in Woodstock and Reinhardt University in Waleska.

All banks, financial institutions and post offices will be closed on Monday.

The Cherokee County Chamber of Commerce office in Canton will be closed on Monday.

Most business offices will be closed on Monday, including the Cherokee Tribune.
