Ralph (Jack) Mattis, age 63, of Acworth, GA passed away October 14, 2012 at Kennestone Hospital in Marietta, GA. He was preceded in death by his parents Ralph and Dorothy Mattis. Jack was a devout Christian, musician, and a wonderful, caring and loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend and will be truly missed by all who knew him. Jack is survived by his loving wife, Cheryl Mattis; children, Bob Mattis, David Mattis, Amanda Ellison, Gary Henderson and Maria Veling, Dario Gutierrez, Monica Gutierrez, Carolina Goich, Arturo Gutierrez; grandchildren, Emily, Brianna, Matthew, Lily, Dorian and Haley, sister, Joan Burden, nephew, Kenny and many other extended family and friends. A Celebration of Life Service will be held Saturday, October 20, 2012 at 3 p.m. at Living Hope Church in Marietta. The family will receive friends Friday, October 19, 2012 from 6 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
