George Edwin Moore, age 81, of Canton, GA passed away Thursday, October 18, 2012 at Northside Hospital Cherokee. Mr. Moore as a retired U.S. Army and U.S. Air Force Veteran who served in WWII, Korea, and Vietnam. Mr. Moore was a generous hearted contributor for many charitable organizations, especially Veteran, Animal, & Native American Groups. Funeral Services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 21, 2012, from the Chapel of South Canton Funeral Home with Rev. Terry Caylor officiating. Interment will follow at Cherokee Memorial Park.The family will receive friends from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., Friday, October 19, 2012, and from 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., Saturday, October 20, 2012 at South Canton Funeral Home. Preceded in death by wife, Bobbie Jean Moore; sister, Norm Grizzle.
