The Navy says Team "Trample the Weak, Hurdle the Dead" completed the event’s five races with an overall time of 7:11:13.
A total 41 teams of military personnel from the armed forces’ five branches competed in last weekend’s event. The competition included a mountain run, a mountain bike race, a forced hike through the mountains, a whitewater raft race and a kayak race.
The winning team’s members are Cmdr. Sue Himes with the U.S. State Department; Cmdr. Todd Gagnon with Navy Information Operations Command in Fort Gordon, Ga.; Cmdr. Andrew Cawlfield, commanding officer, Navy Operational Support Center in Baltimore and Lt. j.g. Travis Dill with NIOC in Fort Meade, Md.
