CANTON — A Marietta woman remains missing more than a week after being seen last in Canton early last week.

Pacer Cordry, spokesman for the Canton Police Department, said Tuesday afternoon that police are continuing to search for Deborah Lee Crawford, 41, who was last seen at Kmart on Marietta Highway at about 4 p.m. last Monday.

“Crawford was reported to have been dropped off by a friend at Kmart and picked up by a male named Travis,” Cordry said of the woman who was reported missing last Thursday.

Her family has advised police that she has several mental disorders including depression, Cordry said.

When last seen, Crawford, a black woman weighing about 165 pounds, was wearing blue jeans and a green shirt with a green M&M candy and a frog printed on it. She also has a tattoo reading “Brent’s Playground” across her chest and another showing praying hands on her right forearm, Cordry said.

Crawford has not been reported missing before being called in as a missing person Thursday, Cordry said.

Cordry said police have been searching the area since last week but have had no luck.

Anyone with information is asked to call 911.
