WOODSTOCK — As part of its summer concert series, the city of Woodstock is set to play host to The Marshall Tucker Band on Saturday at 7:30 p.m. in the Park at City Center. With the popularity of the band, traffic is expected to be heavier than usual, police said.

While additional police officers will be on duty to assist with traffic control, the Woodstock Police Department urges those attending the concert to carpool if possible, to park only in permitted areas, to drive with caution around pedestrians, to comply with uniform police officers directing traffic and to allow for extra travel time to and from the concert.

Public parking locations are provided on the city’s website at woodstockga.gov.
