Mr. Leon Sims, 58, of Cartersville passed away on Monday, July 30, 2012 at Catersville Medical Center. Funeral services are scheduled for 2 p.m. on Wednesday, August 1, 2012 at the Sosebee Memorial Chapel with Rev. Glenn Sims and Rev. Wesley Morris officiating. Interment will follow in Landmark Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday after 11 a.m. Survivors include his mother, Leoma Sims of Canton; sister, Patricia Putnam of Canton; and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
