Mr. Robert “Bob” Wallace, 58, of Canton, passed away on Wednesday, July 11, 2012 at his residence. Funeral services are scheduled for 9:30 a.m. Friday, July 13, 2012 at the Sosebee Memorial Chapel with Rev. Terry Howard officiating. Interment will follow in the Georgia National Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2 pm until 10 pm Thursday at the funeral home. Bob served in the U. S. Army for 21 years and worked for the Cherokee Co. Sheriff’s Department for 10 years. Survivors include his wife of 39 years Rita Wallace; sons, Michael (Jenny) Wallace of Hawaii, David Wallace of Canton and Chris (Charlie) Wallace of Canton; grandchildren, Breanna, Courtney, Jacob, Jasmine and Madison; 2 brothers, 6 sisters and a multitude of cousins, nieces, and nephews that loved him very much.
