On behalf of American Veterans Traveling Tribute, I would like thank the city of Canton for the welcome we received last week for the Cost of Freedom Tribute and Traveling Wall in conjunction with the American Heroes Air Show.
Canton is a community filled with patriots and those that truly understand what it means to honor, respect and remember our American heroes. Thank you to everyone who attended the events, participated in the ceremonies and volunteered.
We would like to extend a big thank you to Heritage Park Complex for providing a beautiful venue, to the Escort Captain Judy Walker for coordinating the escort ride, to American Legion Post 201 in Alpharetta for hosting the staging location for the escort, and to Mike Grier and Jim Paules with American Heroes Air Shows for all of their sponsorship and coordinating efforts towards AVTT’s involvement in the Air Show.
Without the hard work and dedication of so many, this event would not have been possible.
Thank you again for taking the time to pay tribute to our active duty, veteran and fallen American heroes.
Honor. Respect. Remember.
