August 22, 1930 – June 23, 2013 William Stanley Little, 82, of Woodstock, died Sunday, June 23, 2013 at his residence with family by his side following an extended illness. William was born in Atlanta on August 22, 1930 to the late Barney and Ruth Stanley Little. He graduated from Georgia Tech in 1952. Mr. Little retired from the Nuclear Regulatory Commission with over 20 years of service. He also served his country proudly in the United States Reserves. He was a member of First Baptist Woodstock and loved to sing in the church choir. William was an amateur pilot and loved to fly his plane, he was also an avid outdoorsman, and he especially enjoyed fishing. In addition to his parents Mr. Little is also preceded in death by his brother, Hugh Little. Survivors include his loving wife of 60 years, Connie Little of Woodstock; sons and daughters-in-law, Stan and Patsy Little of Lake Forest, WA, Tim and Melanie Little of Grand Lake, CO, Pete and Kris Little of Granby, CO, Will and Susan Little of Austell, GA and Dan and Stephanie Little of Pacific MO, grandchildren; Jake, Matt, Joe, Emily, Sam, Abbie, Grace, Joshua, Nathan, Kelly, Juan Carlos, Adriana, Kaitlin, Ansley, Luke, Sophie, Nathan and Cohen, great-grandchildren, Presley, Allison, Gavin, and James; brother and sister-in-law, John and Toni Little of Seneca, SC; numerous other relatives and loving friends. Funeral Services are scheduled for 10:30 am Thursday, June 27, 2013 in the Chapel of Lakeside Funeral Home. Rev. Ken Smith will be officiating. Interment will follow in Enon Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, June 26th from 6 pm to 9 pm at the Funeral Home. Lakeside Funeral Home, 121 Claremore Drive, Woodstock, GA 30188 (770) 293-2757 is handling arrangements.
