Fire crews found a body at the scene of a house fire Wednesday, sparking a multi-jurisdictional investigation. Canton Police Chief Mark Mitchell said Thursday that the deceased person had not been identified. “From what we can confirm at this time, the victim is male and was discovered in the lower level of the residence,” he said.
