Canton City Council set to continue selection of architect for fire station

The Canton City Council could revisit who to select as the architect for the planned Northwest Fire Station at its meeting tonight. Mayor Gene Hobgood is calling for the discussion about the issue. The council voted in April, in a 4-3 split vote with the mayor breaking the tie, to move away from a design/build plan for the construction of the station at Laurel Canyon and instead hire an architect to draw up plans and oversee the project...
