As snow began falling in Cherokee County on Wednesday afternoon, reports of wrecks began accumulating with the snow. With black ice possible through Friday morning, the National Weather Service forecasted temperatures to rise above freezing in most areas by 2 p.m. Friday. Some residents in northern Cherokee measured more than 3 inches of snow before nightfall Wednesday, with more than 6 inches in some areas by the time snow stopped fall...
