Investigators seek assistance in finding vehicle they believe was involved in attempted child abduction

Cherokee Sheriff’s Office investigators are asking for assistance in locating a vehicle that they said was used in an attempted child abduction. A spokesman for the agency said the incident occurred at about 8 a.m. Tuesday on Deer Hollow Drive in Woodstock as a 12-year-old walked to the bus stop. The vehicle was described by investigators as being a two-door, white SUV with possible red paint, rust or red dirt at the bottom of the drive...
