As a 13-year-old Canton boy battles a rare cancer, his mom said it’s things like Thursday’s blood drive that bring a little happiness during a rough time. The Canton YMCA hosted a blood drive Thursday in honor of Austin Perkins, who recently began his battle with a rare form of cancer called endothelial sarcoma.
