A Canton man who was missing for the past month was found dead in Atlanta.

Frederick "Freddie" Antwyan English, 40, had not been seen by family or friends since Jan. 13, according to police reports.

His body was found on Friday at an apartment complex in Atlanta.

The Fulton County Medical Examiner's Office completed an autopsy over the weekend, but has not released a cause of death pending toxicology results.

Sources close to the case have said his death appeared to be accidental carbon monoxide poisoning.

English was in the process of moving from an apartment on Meridian Street in Canton to Clayton County when he disappeared, police said. His family filed missing person reports in both jurisdictions.

He had completed a change-of-address form and taken other action related to moving, according to the police.

English took medication for depression, according to police, but family members said he seemed fine and had no other health problems.
