The Walt Disney Pictures movie, "The Odd Life of Timothy Green," will shoot some scenes in the county next month.
The details won't be released until closer to the shoot, said Claire Raskind, publicist for the movie that stars Jennifer Garner, Joel Edgerton and C.J. Adams.
The film already is being shot in and around Atlanta, including Coweta, Fulton, Morgan and Walton counties as well as Cherokee.
Academy Award-nominated writer/director Peter Hedges, known for "About a Boy," "What's Eating Gilbert Grape" and "Dan in Real Life," is directing the film. He and also wrote the script based on a story from producer Ahmet Zappa.
The movie is described as an inspiring, magical story about a couple, Cindy and Jim Green (Mrs. Garner and Edgerton), who can't wait to start a family, but can only dream about what their child would be like.
When young Timothy (Adams) shows up on their doorstep one stormy night, the couple, and their small town of Stanleyville, discover a whole new view on what it is to love and be loved.
Other cast members are Rosemarie DeWitt, Dianne Wiest, Ron Livingston, Odeya Rush, Lin-Manuel Miranda, M. Emmet Walsh, Lois Smith and Common.
