Woman found dead in Clayton County is identified

RIVERDALE, Ga. (AP) _ Authorities have identified a woman who was found dead inside a house near Riverdale, where two children were found bound.

Clayton County police Sgt. Otis Willis III tells The Atlanta Journal-Constitution the woman has been identified as 32-year-old Korean Bowden.

After discovering her body and the children Monday, police began searching for a man they described as a person of interest. They issued an Amber Alert for a 9-year-old girl, and located the man and the girl in Bartow County.

Police said they charged the man, William Nazario, with false imprisonment and aggravated sexual battery.

Police were called to the Clayton County home Monday morning. Two children ages 4 and 12 were discovered bound and tied. Officers discovered Bowden’s body inside.

Police said the children in the house were not injured.
