GAINESVILLE, Ga. (AP) _ Authorities say a school bus overturned in northeast Georgia, sending nearly two dozen students to a hospital with injuries that were described as not life-threatening.

The Times of Gainesville reports the Hall County school bus crashed Friday morning at the intersection Joe Chandler Road and East Hall Road.

Authorities say 22 students from East Hall High School and the driver of the bus were taken to Northeast Georgia Medical Center.

Hall County Schools said in a statement that none of the injuries appear to be life threatening. A hospital spokeswoman said the injured students and driver were being evaluated by doctors Friday morning.
