Doris May Kite was my treasured older sister, we didn't grow up together as she married the love of her life my dear Brother in Law Marvin when I was only very small she left England and joined him in America and enjoyed a wonderful life in America.

Over the years though we found our sisterly bond just got stronger and stronger, we would always write and I had several wonderful holidays in America, where she would work so hard to show me as much of it as she could. Doris would also visit here and each moment we were together was so precious, we would laugh and cry together, in later years it was almost as though we lived just up the road from each other, we would share recipes by email, phone each other regularly, even take pictures of new shoes we bought and share them by email.

I am so lucky to have had such a wonderful sister

but it does hurt so much without her here, one day though we will meet again till then Dearest Doris sleep sweetly. Our precious sisterly love will never die.
