Ralph Dean Johnson, 78 of Canton, Georgia passed away on Saturday, May 19, 2012, at Northside Hospital-Cherokee in Canton, Georgia. Born Thursday, May 17, 1934 in Canton, Georgia. He was the husband of Mary Henson Johnson. Surviving are daughter, Connie Pointer of Canton, GA; brothers, Johnny Joe Johnson of Canton, GA and David Johnson of Canton, GA; sister, Dale Blanton of Canton, GA; step sister, Glenda Bobo of Woodstock, GA; 3 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren. The funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m. on Monday at Mount Calvary Baptist Church with Rev. Robert Allen, Rev. Nathan Smith, Rev. Eric Mayo, Rev. Mark Henson and Mr. Sam Ghorley officiating. Interment will be in Mount Calvary Baptist Cemetery, Canton, GA. The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. on Sunday, May 20, 2012, at Darby Funeral Home, 480 E. Main St., Canton, Georgia.
