Mr. H.V. “Sonny” Henderson, age 76, of Woodstock, GA died on Wednesday May 23, 2012. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday May 25, 2012 from the Chapel of the Darby Funeral Home. Rev. Horace Richards and Bishop Lance Johnson officiating. Interment will be in the Cherokee Memorial Park. Family will receive friends on Thursday 6:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. Survivors are wife, Elizabeth “Libby” Henderson, Woodstock, GA; sons and daughters-in-law, Allen & Sharon, Henderson, Marietta, GA, Larry & Angie Henderson, Woodstock, GA and David Henderson, Woodstock, GA; sisters and brothers-in-law, Doris Green, Canton, GA, Juanita and Bob Johnson, Woodstock, GA and Sammy Allison, Canton, GA, 10 grandchildren; stepchildren, Sheri & Ron Crumbley, Jasper, GA, Gregory & Peggy Padgett, Marietta, GA and Robin and Bruce Fergusson, Lexington KY. He was preceded in death by his sister and brother-in-law, Sue & Sam Fitts. Family request in lieu of flowers donations be made to Alzheimer’s Association.
