Maxal Rogers, age 82, of Ball Ground, died Saturday, May 26, 2012, at Heritage Hospice. He attended Canton Community Church, was a past President of the Canton Moose where he held the degree of Pilgrim, and he was a U.S. Navy Veteran. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 30, 2012, from the Chapel South Canton Funeral Home. The family will receive friends all day on Tuesday, May 29, 2012. He is preceded in death by son: William Gene Rogers. Survivors include son: Larry Rogers, step sons: Timothy and Joshua Joseph Smith, step daughter: Laura Schellhardt, and Sisters: Mary Hall And Sarah Godfrey.
