The auditions will begin at 7 p.m. both days at the theater located at 171 East Main St. in downtown.
Men and women 18 and older are needed for the auditions, including singers and dancers.
All positions are volunteer.
Music featured in the play includes Beach Boys, the Monkees, the Beatles, the Supremes, Aretha Franklin, Dusty Springfield, James Brown and Neil Diamond.
The show is directed by Canton native Robert Tippens.
Tippens is the grandson of Bob Owens, the bass singer for the Gospel Land Singers, and as a child traveled on tours with the group.
Recently Tippens has been touring with the Billy Troy Band led by the Grammy-nominated singer.
He has been performing in the new musical “Memories from the Grand Ole Opry,” featuring Jeanie Seely and Jack Green.
Those auditioning are asked to bring a resume, a headshot, audition sheet music or recorded music.
The Canton Theatre is owned by the city of Canton and under the management of the Canton Downtown Development Authority.
