Ted Edward Adams, age 54, of Acworth passed away Thursday, June 28, 2012. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, July 2 in the Chapel of West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory, 2480 Macland Road, Marietta with Reverend Phillip Crawford, officiating. Interment will follow at the Georgia National Cemetery, Canton. Mr. Adams was a Field Service Representative for The Hillman Group. He was a former baseball coach, an umpire and member of the CUA and MUA High School Association, a former member of the NUA, a veteran of the United States Army and of the Baptist faith. He is survived by his loving wife, Carla Adams; daughter, Christi Adams of Acworth; sons, Shawn and wife, Kelly Adams of Acworth and Chase Adams of Acworth; mother, Gloria Adams of Mableton; siblings, Randy Adams of New Georgia, Debbie Jones of Winston and Sandra Brooks of Mableton; grandchildren, Makayla and Asher Adams. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Ted Adams Memorial Fund at any Regions Bank.
