The City of Woodstock Public Works Department will close Neese Rd Thursday, July 5th at 9:30am to repair a broken water main in front of Dupree Park. The road will be closed at Neese and Washington Ave and at Neese and Franklin Rd.
Washington Ave will be used as a detour route around the road closure for north bound traffic and Franklin Rd will be used as a detour route for south bound traffic; the route(s) will be marked with detour signs.
We anticipate finishing repairs and opening the road at 5pm on July 5th. Given the nature of the repairs please use caution in the area of Dupree Park as road plates will be used to allow traffic to use the road until paving can be completed. Notification will be sent out when a timeframe for paving is scheduled.
