Detectives with the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office are looking for help in identifying a white female suspected of car theft in the BridgeMill subdivision.

Lt. Jay Baker, spokesman for the Cherokee County Sheriff’s office, said the alleged theft occurred July 1.

“Within minutes of the theft, a suspect was using a credit card that was stolen from the vehicle at businesses near Bridgemill,” Baker said Monday. “An image of a white female who had just used the card was captured on security cameras as she was leaving the Sixes Road Quiktrip.”

Baker said anyone who recognizes the female is urged to contact investigators at (770) 928-0239.
