Steve Nelson, formerly of Canton, GA and employed by Kawasaki Loaders, Kennesaw, GA until his retirement in 2007 passed away July 12th at his home in Fayetteville, North Carolina. He will be truly missed by his family. He was an amazing father, loving husband and grandfather and deeply committed to the humane treatment of dogs and cats. He is survived by his wife, Diane; daughters, Stacy Sharp, Seymour, TN and Kristie Nelson, Marietta, GA; 5 granddaughters; brother, Gary Nelson, Powell, TN; 2 sister, Nicole Hendrix, Louisville, KY and April Oaks, Powell, TN. In lieu of flowers donations can be made in his name to The Cherokee County Humane Society, 146 Big Woods Dr, Woodstock, GA 30189. 770-928-5115 or an animal rescue group or shelter of your choice.

Steve was such a sweet man. He will be missed by many. My condolences to the family. I'm so sorry for your loss.
