CANTON — Dr. Robert A. Kelly of the Canton and Woodstock offices of Resurgens Orthopaedics — Georgia’s largest orthopedic practice — was named to the 2012 list of Top Docs in the July issue of Atlanta Magazine.
Five additional Resurgens Orthopaedics physicians joined Dr. Kelly in the prestigious listing: Drs. Erroll J. Bailey, Edward H. Holliger IV, Kenneth J. Kress, Douglas W. Lundy and Yvonne E. Satterwhite.
Resurgens co-president Dr. Kay Kirkpatrick said the practice is exceptionally honored to have six physicians on Atlanta Magazine’s Top Doctors list. “All of our physicians take pride in giving patients the highest quality of care, and it’s fulfilling to have that commitment to excellence recognized by a panel of their peers,” she said.
Dr. Kelly practices at the Resurgens Canton, Kennesaw, and Woodstock offices. His areas of expertise include arthroscopy, joint replacement and joint resurfacing/restoration.
Dr. Kelly completed his medical degree and his residency at the University of Miami School of Medicine and a sports medicine fellowship at the American Sports Medicine Institute in Birmingham, Ala. He is board certified by the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons.
He is a member of the American Medical Association, Arthroscopy Association of North America, Georgia Orthopaedic Society, Medical Association of Georgia, Atlanta Orthopaedic Society and Cobb County Medical Society.
Castleberry receives award
CANTON — Travis Ned Castleberry of the financial services firm Edward Jones in Canton recently won the firm’s Jack Phelan Award for his achievement in building client relationships.
Castleberry was one of 300 of the firm’s 12,000 financial advisers to receive the Jack Phelan award.
“It’s truly an honor to receive recognition for building relationships with those clients we serve,” Castleberry said. “And it’s quite inspirational to receive an award named after a firm legend such as Jack Phelan, who was dedicated to individual investors and understood each investor’s unique financial goals.”
