Ricky L. Norrell, 49, of Ball Ground, passed away on Wednesday, July 18, 2012. Funeral services are scheduled for 2 pm Saturday, August 4, 2012 at Calvary Baptist Church with Rev. Terry Cowart and Rev. Troy Milford officiating. Interment will follow in Ophir Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Thursday after 12 pm and all day Friday at Sosebee Funeral Home. Ricky was a member of Ophir Baptist Church and employed with Curtis 1000. Survivors include his mother, Ruby Norrell of Danielsville; father, Charles Norrell of Jasper; sisters, Rhonda Ellzey of Canton, Becky Dinsmore of Danielsville, Kristy Drake of Athens and Renea Norrell of Danielsville; 4 nieces, 1 nephew and several aunts, uncle and cousins.
