Robert William Babcock Jr., age 56, passed away on August 2, 2012. He was the beloved first-born son of Robert William Babcock, Sr. and Eleanor Hope Crisler Babcock. He is survived by his son, Samuel Babcock, brother Wesley Babcock and wife Marjorie, brother David Babcock and wife Becky, his former wife of almost 20 years Cathy Johnson, and numerous aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, and cousins. Bobby was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed fishing and camping. A 1974 graduate of Sprayberry High School, he grew up in Cobb County and recently lived in Canton, Georgia. Bobby worked for decades as a mail processing machinist and technician, most recently at Mail South. The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until 11:45 a.m. Saturday, August 11 with the funeral service to follow at 12:00 p.m. at Darby Funeral Home in Canton, Georgia.
