Kenneth Lee “Storky” Blalock, Sr., 70, died peacefully at home on August 8, 2012. A native of Canton, Georgia, he was the son of the late Wilford Marion & Annice Mae Keith Blalock. He retired from textiles, having worked with Canton Textiles, Pharr Yarns and Rauch Industries. He was a member of First United Methodist Church, Belmont. A service to celebrate his life will be held at 12:00 Saturday at First United Methodist Church, Belmont with Dr. Chuck Baker officiating. The family will greet friends following the service at the church. Survivors include his daughter & son-in-law, Tobey & Keith Lowe of Belmont; sons & daughter-in-law, Lee & Suzanne Blalock of Boston, MA., Greg Blalock of Atlanta, Ga.; grandchildren, Eric, Hayley, David, Joshua, Sophia & Greyson; brother & sister-in-law, Roy & Gail Blalock of Holly Springs, Ga; sister & brother-in-law, Betty & Mackey Whitmire of Conyers, Ga.; special friends Gilla Hammontree of Jasper, Ga.; numerous nieces & nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Lane Towers Blalock.
