Mr. Clifton Edmondson, 67, of Canton, passed away on Tuesday, August 14, 2012 at his residence. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Friday, August 17, 2012 at the Sosebee Memorial Chapel with Rev. Jim Gable officiating. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 12:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Clifton served in the U.S. Army and was a retired assistant manager from Lockheed. Survivors include his wife of 27 years, Helen Edmondson of Canton; daughter, Ivy E. (Andrew) Nowosad of Chapel Hill, NC; brother, W.H. Edmondson of Woodstock; sisters, Shelvie Welchel of Woodstock and Mildred Shoope of Woodstock; one grandson and several nieces and nephews.
