Donna Bryan, 60, Finchville, died unexpectedly Monday, August 20, 2012 at Jewish Hospital Shelbyville. She had been a resident at Crestview Care & Rehab. A native of St. Paul, MN, she was the daughter of the late Eleanor and Donald Peterson. She attended college in Marietta, GA, where she met and married Ernest Robert Bryan. She was a tow motor operator for Shaw Carpet Manufacturing Company. In her leisure time, she enjoyed bowling, softball, country dancing, horses and cats. During her time in Kentucky, she had become affiliated with Pigeon Fork Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband, Ernest Bryan of Acworth, GA; two daughters, Leslie Leonard of Finchville and Angie Bryan of Woodstock GA; two sons, Roderick Schoenvogel of Cartersville, GA and Scott Bryan of Woodstock GA; one sister, Kay Southall; one brother, Buddy Peterson; 12 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Cremation was chosen in accordance with her wishes and will be followed by a memorial service in Georgia. Local arrangements were entrusted to Webb Funeral Home.
