Bess Rutledge, age 97, of Canton, GA passed away Tuesday, September 11, 2012 at Cameron Hall. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 PM, on Thursday, September 13, from the Sixes United Methodist Chapel with Rev. Joe McKechnie officiating. Interment will follow at Cherokee Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM, Wednesday, and until the funeral hour on Thursday at South Canton Funeral Home. She was preceded in death by her husband, L.B. “Kitty” Rutledge. Survivors include: sons, Doug (Ann) Rutledge, Canton; Ray (Peggy) Rutledge, Canton; grandchildren, Doug (Teresa) Rutledge, Canton, Charles Rutledge, Kennesaw, Richard (Darlene) Rutledge, East Cobb, Cindi Rutledge, Alpharetta; great grandchildren, Zak Rutledge, Canton, Zane Rutledge, Canton, Sabrena Rutledge, East Cobb.
