The Canton Police Department today asked for help identifying two men who are suspected of using a stolen credit card at the Wal-Mart in Canton.
Police released photographs on Tuesday of the suspects caught on surveillance video at the store.
The credit card belongs to a woman from South Carolina who last used her card at the Wal-Mart in Moncks Corner, S. C. on Aug. 7, police spokesperson Det. Candy Worthy said in a release.
On Aug. 8, the victim’s card was used by the two suspects at the Canton Wal-Mart.
The suspects purchased gift cards and cigarettes and were observed with about two to three other black males who were not captured on video, but observed in the parking lot, Worthy said.
The suspects’ vehicle appeared to be a four-door dark color passenger car, she said.
Another purchase was made on the victim’s card at a Kroger in Marietta, according to police.
Anyone with information on the two suspects or similar cases is asked to contact Det. Worthy at (770) 720-4883 or email at candy.worthy@canton-georgia.com.
