Mr. Allen Hitt, 66, of Ball Ground, passed away due to cancer, Friday, September 28, 2012 at Northside Hospital Forsyth. Graveside services will be held at 11 am Tuesday, October 2, 2012 at Arlington Memorial Park Cemetery with Pastor Ken May officiating. The family will receive friends on Monday from 4 pm until 9 pm at Sosebee Funeral Home. He was preceded in death by his wife, Grace Hitt and sister, Mimi Dixon; survivors include his daughters, Dianne Hollis and Michele Haley both of Royston; sisters, Jane Lear of Woodstock and Kathryn Pounds of Buford; grandchildren, April Wilkes, Amber Haley and Clayton Hollis; 4 great-grandchildren; niece, Helen Grace Branyon and several other nieces and nephews.
