MOUNT STERLING, Ky. (AP) — An eastern Kentucky woman has been charged with stealing popcorn from Boy Scouts.

The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office told WKYT-TV that they arrested 28-year-old Holly Marlowe on Thursday after finding her with another person in a stolen truck munching on the snack food.

Police say a Boy Scout troop in Montgomery County had reported a trailer containing $5,000 worth of popcorn was stolen.

Police said the man who was in the truck with her ran off, but they are searching for him.

Jail records show Marlowe is facing charges of burglary, receiving stolen property and fleeing or evading police. They do not indicate whether she has an attorney.
