Mr. Jim Ray Davis, 66, of Woodstock, GA., lost his long battle with cancer early Saturday morning November 17, 2012 at his residence. Mr. Davis was cremated and a memorial service will be held at a later date. Jim was born August 22, 1946 to the late Jessie B. and Hazel Haynes Davis in Kingsport, TN. He later served his country in the U.S. Marine Corp. He was self-employed in Home Improvement Industry for many years. Jim was preceded in death by his seven brothers and sisters. Survivors include his wife of 30 years, Donna Davis, Woodstock, GA; three daughters, Jennifer Johnson Henderson (Brett), Woodstock, GA., Maris Davis Dunn, Dallas, GA, and his baby girl, Raelyn Davis Gomez (Mark Anthony), Woodstock, GA; one son, Robert Johnson, Woodstock, GA; ten grandchil-dren, Kayla, Jessie Lynne, Sarah, Matthew, Amber, Steven, Mikeal, Whitney, Seth, and Shelby; three great grand-children; one brother, Jess Davis, Burbank, CA; several nieces and nephews; his mother-in-law, Reatha Christian, Jacksonville, FL; and also several extended family members in Jacksonville, FL.
