Mr. Johnny C. Martin, 65, of Canton, passed away on Friday, December 7, 2012 at Northside Hospital Cherokee. Funeral services are scheduled for 12:30 pm Tuesday, December 11, 2012 at the Sosebee Memorial Chapel with Rev. Gary Stone officiating. Interment will follow in the Georgia National Cemetery. The family will receive friends after 6 pm Saturday and all day Sunday and Monday at the funeral home. Mr. Martin served in the U.S. Army and was a Vietnam Veteran. He was Pentecostal and loved classic cars. Survivors include his wife of 43 years, Jeanine Martin of Canton; children, Mickie (Jimmy) Bailey of Cartersville, Dawn (Dana) Martin of Canton and Marty (Trina) Martin of Canton; grandchildren, Kristina Bailey, Nicole Bailey, Courtney Bailey, Cody Martin, Chris Martin and Isaac Martin; siblings, Margaret (Calvin) Maddox of Canton, Faye (Larry) Martin of Canton, Sally (Arnie) Fox of Cumming, Benny Thacker and Nancy Thacker both of Canton; a host of nieces and nephews.
