Body found behind Canton Marketplace

Police are continuing their search after the body of a deceased Hispanic male was found behind the Canton Marketplace shopping center on Sunday morning.
According to the Canton Police Department, the deceased man is between 20 and 30 years of age. He was found without identification. Hunters in the woods behind the Cumming Highway shopping center found the body Sunday morning, and police were dispatched shortly before 9:30 a.m.
“Detectives are on scene conducting an investigation of the events leading to his death, and are labeling the circumstances as ‘suspicious,’” police department officials said in a release on Sunday.
Anyone with information on the man’s identity is asked to call 911.
