SPINKS, Janice C.
Mrs. Janice C. Spinks, 60, of Canton passed away on Sunday, December 30, 2012, at Northside Cherokee Hospital. Funeral services are scheduled for 1 p.m. on Friday, January 4, 2013, at Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church with Rev. Tommy Seay and Rev. Tully Griggs officiating. Interment will follow in the Sewell Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 5 pm until 10 p.m. and Thursday from 9 a.m. until 10 p.m. at the funeral home. Mrs. Spinks will lie-in-state at the church on Friday from 12-1 p.m. She is preceded in death by her brothers, Wade Sewell and Glenn Sewell and sister, Lucy Massey. Survivors include her son, Eric (Kara) Spinks; siblings, Willease Thomas, James Sewell, Ronnie Sewell and Thomas Sewell; granddaughter, Cassie Spinks and several nieces and nephews.
