Henry Cowart Jr., 82, of Canton, GA passed away Saturday, December 22, 2012 at his residence. Funeral services was held at 12:30 p.m. Monday December 24, from the Darby Funeral Home Chapel with Mr. Jeff Cain officiating. Interment will be in the Riverview Cemetery. The family received friends Monday from 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. at Darby Funeral Home. Survivors include wife, Bobbie Cowart, Canton, GA; son and daughter-in-law, Henry (Judy) Cowart III, Carrolton, GA; daughters and sons-in-law, Trina (Jeff) Cain, Kennesaw, GA; Lisa (Randy) Tenney, Tucker, GA; Tresa (Kerry) Hughes, Canton, GA; sister, Ruth Ann Evans, Canton, GA; 7 grandchildren, several nieces and nephews also survive. Mr. Cowart was preceded in death by his son John Cowart. The family request donations be made to Thornwell Childrens Home, P.O. Box 60 Clinton, SC 29325 or to a Charity of your choice.
