Jordan Livesay’s double-double of 23 points and 10 steals led River Ridge to a 57-29 win over Pickens in Friday’s regular-season finale.

The win left River Ridge and Pickens tied atop Region 7AAAA’s southern subregion, but the Lady Knights won the No. 1 seed for the region tournament on a coin flip.

River Ridge will travel to Dalton on Wednesday to face the winner of a quarterfinal-round game between Cedartown and Heritage-Catoosa. A win would clinch the Lady Knights their third state playoff berth in as many seasons.

Jessica Baker added 12 points, five rebounds and two steals in the win over Pickens, while Rachel Psomas had 11 points and five rebounds.

The Lady Knights hit four 3-pointers in the first quarter to take the lead, and they outscored Pickens 18-7 in the fourth quarter to put the game away. Baker had seven of her 12 points in the fourth.
